Warm breezes flow through the palm trees, sunshine or sunset, our rooftop patio (bar, yoga studio, sun loungers, al fresco dining) overlooks the Caribbean Sea-perfect for your lazy morning coffee, sunbathing, sunset cocktails or midnight stargazing. C’est la vie at *Sea La Vie*! Newly tiled floors and freshly painted walls throughout living room and hallway, updates and gives the place a modern beachy feel:)

You’ve spent the day surfing nearby, or at the beach and now it’s time to chill! Rinse off in our rain style outdoor shower, store your boards in our board rack shed… and then head to the roof! Or through french doors onto “the front porch”, a secure open-air living and dining area- set in the lush garden, which offers an ocean view through the front gates.

The living room has cable TV and a “concierge” desk, with a map of all my favorite spots on the island, “Ins & Outs of Barbados” magazine, maps and useful information. There is also a set of dominos, cards, scrabble and backgammon for you to enjoy!

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, cable TV, ceiling fan and AC. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed, cable TV ceiling fan and AC. The third bedroom has a queen size bed ceiling fan and AC. Fourth bedroom has a double bed, ceiling fan and standing fan. There is also a daybed in the living room, and a single bed mattress and playpen, which can moved as needed for youngsters, or young at heart adults.

The kitchen has everything you need; fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, food processor, coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There are even some local jams, chutneys and pepper sauces in the fridge for you to sample! We’ve also just added a propane BBQ, so you can grill up fresh fish from Oistins Fish Market!

Washer/dryer in the laundry room and two clothes lines for an authentic “ocean breeze”scent. “Gain” has been trying to bottle it for ages!

You will have the entire place to yourself, but don’t be shy… you can reach me anytime via telephone or e-mail for questions about the house, tips about the island, or recommendations on car rentals, tours, babysitters or anything else!

Lovely well maintained and upscale neighborhood. Safe and family friendly.

View of Freights Bay: excellent beginner surfing, and SUP-ing (stand-up paddle boarding)-most surf schools offer their lessons here. South Point surf spot only 10 minute walk for avid surfers. Followed by Silver sands, home of Brian Talma and Surfers point for kite and wind surfing.

Miami Beach: 10 minute walk, a calm side that is shallow without waves perfect for small children and infants and a not so calm side for the rest of us. “Mr. Delicious” canteen serves up local flavours: fish cakes, flying fish cutters, rotis, Bajan lemonade, rum punch and Banks Beer. Vendors on site with chairs & umbrellas.

Oistins: Next to Miami beach complete with supermarkets, banks, post office, café’s, Chefette, and the famous “Oistins Fish Fry/Market”, where you can buy your fish to cook at home or opt for an affordable and delicious plate of grilled catch!

Public buses are only a 10 minute walk away in the fishing village of Oistins (including all services).
